Professor Banik was awarded $7.25 million grants from NIH and NCI. Importantly, he has 560 publications and 15 books. Professor Banik has mentored approximately 300 students, 20 postdoctoral fellows, 7 research scientists and 25 university faculties. He was the advisor of students’ organizations. Dr. Banik chaired 20 symposiums at the ACS Meetings and over 2 dozen conferences including 1 at the Nobel Prize celebration. Professor Banik has received more than two dozen prestigious awards.

Prof. Sinha was awarded Best Chemistry Teacher by Association of Chemistry Teachers, and he has visited countries in Europe, as well as Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan, in different capacities. So far, he has published more than 320 highly cited original research papers in Chemical Sciences, secured Scopus h-index of 36 and citations of 4,475. In addition, he has enjoyed 21 government-funded research projects.

Ahmet Bilgin was born in 1971 in Yalvaç, Isparta (Turkey). He is a Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at Kocaeli University, Kocaeli, Turkey. He graduated from Karadeniz Technical University in 1997 with a Master Degree in Inorganic Chemistry. He holds his Ph.D. on Phthalocyanines containing Macrobicyclic Units at Karadeniz Technical University in 2002. After Ph.D., he joined to the Kocaeli University as an Assistant Prof. Dr. on 5 November 2003. He founded the primary research laboratory in 2004 and has been conducting his scientific studies as a group leader. His research interests include cryptands, crown ethers, vic-dioximes and their transition metal complexes, metal extraction, supramolecular chemistry, organometallic chemistry, phthalocyanines, porphyrazines, catalysists as well as polymer synthesis (ROP and ATRP etc.) and characterizations, biodegrable polymers.

Professor Ali Maleki started his career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in 2010, where he is currently a Full Professor. His research interests focus on design and development of novel multicomponent reactions, organic synthesis, natural and synthetic polymers, heterocycles, pharmaceutical compounds, nanochemistry, magnetic, composite, hybrid, core/shell nanomaterials, catalysts and catalytic reactions, medicinal and green chemistry. Prof. Dr. Maleki has hundreds of ISI-JCR publications, book chapters and executed industrial and applied projects. He has been selected as a distinguished researcher of IUST during 2010-2022. He has been awarded IUPAC-CHEMRAWN VII prize for green chemistry in 2016. He has achieved Iranian Chemical Society Outstanding Chemist Award in 2022. Dr. Maleki has been ranked as top 1% International Scientists in ESI (Web of Science) in 2018-2021. He had more than 30 highly cited papers in 2010-2021. His H-index is currently 60 including more than 12000 citations.

Sukanta Bar studied chemistry from the University of Calcutta during 2000–2005. He received his Ph.D. degree from the IIT Kharagpur, India in 2011 under the supervision of Prof. Saumen Hajra. Then he moved to Technion Israel Institute of Technology and joined the research group of Profs. Alex Szpilman as a Schulich post-doctoral research fellow. He completed another postdoctoral research from the University of Michigan under mentorship of Prof. Corinna Schindler (2014-2016). He returned to India as a Senior Research Investigator at Syngene Int. Ltd (2016-2019). Recently, Dr. Bar accepted a Scientist position at the structural biology department of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (2020-till now). He is leading the chemistry initiative of Prof. Scott Blanchard’s group.

In agreement with this objective, my research is focused in immediate technological application. She was appointed (1996) as Adjunct Professor at the Chemical Engineering Department of Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL), Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon. She is also the Vice-President of the said Department. Prof. Martins has authored more than 100 manuscripts, 13 patents, and 2 book chapters, and supervised several PhD (12) and Master (14) students. She is also President of the Portuguese Electrochemical Society.

My PhD research mainly focused on asymmetric organocatalysis, more specifically, to develop novel reactions catalyzed by chiral phosphine catalysts. I have published 8 papers on high-ranking journals, and authored a comprehensive review on the whole field of asymmetric phosphine catalysis, which was then published in Chemical Reviews.

Dr. Pengpeng Qiu is an Assistant Professor at the State Key Laboratory for Modification of Chemical Fibers and Polymer Materials, College of Materials Science and Engineering at Donghua University. He received his Ph.D. from Korea University, South Korea, in 2017. Then, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Fudan University under Professor Dongyuan Zhao. His research interests focus on the design and synthesis of mesoporous materials for energy and environmental application. Dr. Qiu has published more than 20 articles, including some high-impact journals such as Account of Chemical Research, Nano Letters, and Advanced Functional Materials.

He is presently a Assistant Professor of Chemistry in Amity School of Applied Sciences, Amity University Haryana, India. His research interest includes synthesis and application of calixarene based chemosensors and catalysts.

Dr. Devalina Ray is an Assistant professor in Amity University, Noida, UP, India since 2017. She received her Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur, India in 2008. Thereafter, she pursued her postdoctoral research from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Texas followed by University of Nebraska Medical Centre, Nebraska, USA. She joined Myongji University, Yongin as Research Professor and further continued her postdoctoral research in Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea. She was employed as research associate at IIT-Delhi and then continued to work there as Young Scientist till October 2017. Her current area of interest deals with transition metal-free greener synthetic approaches to various coupling reactions and C-H functionalization. She has approximately 25 research publications in reputed international journals, an international patent, and an Indian copyright. Four more Indian patents have been filed in the last 3 years. She has several national and international research collaborations. She has more than 4 years of teaching experience and mentored 50 students till date. She has trained almost 40 undergraduate and postgraduate students. Currently, she is supervising 2 Ph.D students in their research work. She is the recipient of B. N. Mankad award from Indian Chemical Society, India. She is an affiliate member of Royal Chemical Society, CRSI, and editorial board member of American Journal of Heterocyclic Chemistry.
