Dr. Pavlo Krot since 2019 is an Assistant Professor at the Wroclaw University of Technology, Faculty of Geoengineering, Mining and Geology, Digital Mining Center (DMC). He obtained MSc (1989) and PhD (1996) degrees from the Dnipropetrovsk National University (Ukraine). He worked in 2001-2018 as a Senior Researcher at the Department of Steel Rolling Machines and Technologies, Iron and Steel Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Dnipro). He has over 100 scientific publications and 9 patents along with 20 years of industrial experience in the dynamics, condition monitoring and diagnostics, active vibration damping, process optimization and control, raw materials processing machines and steel rolling mills. Several systems have been commissioned in the industry.

Dr. Umberto Prisco is a Professor of Material Science and Engineering at the University of Napoli Federico II. Dr. Prisco graduated in Chemical Engineering in 1999. In 2003, he received his Ph.D. from the Department of Materials and Production Engineering at the University of Napoli Federico II. In 2003, Prisco was a research fellow at the Nanoscale Physics Research Laboratory, School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, where he was also assistant professor of the summer courses in experimental physics. He moved to the University of Napoli in 2005. His research interests and publications are in the area of the material science and engineering of structural materials, particularly metals and metal alloys; the structure and constitution of these materials, and their properties; the processing and manufacturing of structural materials and components made of them; the development of physical models to simulate the effect of manufacturing processes on the structure and resultant properties of these materials; the validation of the proposed models through targeted experimentation based on novel techniques.

Wanqing Shen received his doctoral degree in 2011 from University of Lille in France. He is currently associate professor at this university. He has developed a series of theoretical and numerical studies in mechanics of heterogeneous materials to take into account the effects of material microstructure on its macroscopic nonlinear behaviour, also the thermo-hydromechanical and chemical coupling with multi-scale approaches. They have been widely applied to various engineering fields such as petroleum industry, geological disposal of nuclear waste. He is the author and co-author of 64 papers in peer-reviewed SCI journal papers. He obtained the Prize of Excellent Scientific Research and Supervision (Prime d'Encadrement Doctoral et de Recherche) in 2017 and 2021, which is selected by the National Council of Universities (CNU) of France.

He was appointed as a World Class Professor in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Halu Oleo-Indonesia in 2018 and 2021, and a visiting scientist in the School of Information Science and Technology, Fudan University, Shanghai, China from 2018 to 2019. He has published more than 200 papers.

Until now, she has published more than 70 articles in SCI magazines including Adv.Mater., ACS Nano, Adv. Funct. Mater., Theranostics, Small, Biomaterial, J. Control. Release, etc. One chapter for an English academic book and two chapters for a Chinese book. More than ten national invention patents have been applied and three have been authorized. Professor Haining Na received his PhD in 2009 from Tianjin University. He was a postdoctoral fellow for two years at the University of Akron. His research interests are mainly focused on the conversion and application of biomass, particularly including hydrolysis of cellulose to sugar, modification of cellulose by carbonation, and biomass composites. Dr. Chetan Nikhare is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. He earned a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University, India in 2003, M.Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India in 2006, and the Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Deakin University, Australia in 2010. Dr. Nikhare joined the Penn State Behrend faculty in August 2012. Prior to joining the faculty, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of New Hampshire. To date, he has performed different aspects of numerical and analytical modeling for material undergoing mechanical processes. He learned constitutive modeling of mild steel and advanced high strength steels and microstructural modeling during his graduate and post-graduate studies. His research interest is, but not limited to, experiments and numerical simulation of sheet metal and bulk forming in various deformation mode, fatigue and fracture, hydroforming and analytical modeling of material mechanics and processes.

Paulo Santos [ORCID 0000-0002-0134-6762] is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. He is an integrated member of ISISE research centre. The main actual scientific research fields are Thermal Behaviour, Energy Efficiency in Buildings and Sustainable Construction. He is the author of around 160 scientific publications. He has around 2,100 citations and 63,000 reads on Research Gate (Berlin), with an h-index of 23. He remained the supervisor and co-supervisor of 50 masters' and 3 doctoral theses. He participated in around 12 funded European and Portuguese research projects. Nowadays, he is the Principal Investigator of the Tyre4BuildIns research project. He has been a member of the scientific committee and/or organizer of several national and international scientific conferences.
